What I Learned About Hankey’s Firmness System
I’ve been a loyal Hankey’s Toys customer for many years, and I currently own multiple toys from the company in 75% Soft, MED FIRM, FIRM, and EXTRA FIRM. Because of that experience, I felt very confident in understanding how their firmness system worked before this purchase.

This review is not coming from a first-time buyer or someone unfamiliar with their products.

When I received my MED FIRM Lance Woods, the toy immediately felt much softer to me than what I personally associate with MED FIRM based on years of experience with other Hankey’s products. In my honest opinion, it felt much closer to the softer 75% feel that many long-time customers are already familiar with.

Because of that, I genuinely believed there had been a manufacturing mistake.

To their credit, customer service was excellent throughout the entire process. They allowed me to explain my concerns fully, provided a return label, tested the toy in-house, and communicated professionally the entire time.

After the firmness testing, they explained something that honestly surprised me and completely changed the way I understand their firmness system.

According to Hankey’s, firmness ratings technically measure the silicone material itself, but the final perceived feel can vary dramatically depending on the toy’s design, wall thickness, structure, size, and overall build. In other words, two toys labeled MED FIRM may still feel very different from each other in actual use even when both are technically measured correctly.

That explanation honestly left me a bit speechless because it also means that firmness ratings are not as universally predictable between models as many experienced customers may assume.

And this is where I believe the website could communicate things more clearly.

The sample packs and firmness descriptions naturally create the expectation that if you already know how MED FIRM feels from previous Hankey’s products, you can confidently expect a similar experience across future models. Based on what I learned during this process, that is not necessarily the case.

I’m not writing this review because customer service treated me badly. Quite the opposite. They were respectful, patient, and professional from beginning to end.

I’m writing this because I think future buyers especially long-time customers who already understand and intentionally avoid the softer 75% feel should know that firmness perception between models may vary far more than expected.

My honest recommendation:
If you strongly prefer a noticeably firmer feel and are specifically trying to avoid anything resembling the softer 75% sensation, you may want to consider ordering one firmness level higher than usual depending on the model, possibly even EXTRA FIRM.

Overall, I still respect the company and appreciate how professionally they handled everything. I simply believe this is extremely important information that should be communicated more clearly to customers before purchasing.

So I received this about a week ago, and I can tell you as of this evening it was worth the wait. Bought the xxl in 40% and even though it is floppy once you get the groove you will not want to stop again. I open up with Roxas xl, and then moved to this guy. The width/flatness definitely threw me at first, but if you know your hole you know which way to turn it. Once you get past the middle the filling sensation is pure bliss and with the 40% the bottom portion kind of pushes the top to just balloon inside of you. Needless to say I rode this thing until I was drooling, and erupted in all of the best ways. 10/10 would recommend if you’re looking for a fun ride!! Wouldn’t try it on a sex machine just because of the shape

Great but unexpected
The first thing i noticed when it came out of box was how flat it was. All the thickness comes from the width and not the girth if that makes sense. Which in my opinion makes it a great camera toy, cause it looks like im getting dug into by something so much bigger from the top, but when looked at from the side not so much. And because of that, it kinda feels like i have a paddle in me sometimes especially when it shifts cause i got 75 soft. Its still a great toy, but its also got that flop that lance has at the base which doesn't make it a great choice for machines and makes hard riding difficult. I dont see why this toy shouldn't get 5 stars, it was my own decision to buy this one and i still look forward to using it. But when i really wanna go hard ill still run back to my perfect penis, excellent product, just not to my tastes.

Perfect camera toy, but not for machines.
The first thing i noticed when i first opened it a couple hours ago, was i didnt expect it to be so flat? The majority of its circumference isnt round and the hang of it makes it difficult to ride or use on machines, but if you fuck yourself on camera with it i cant lie it looks alot bigger from the faces than from the sides. On screen it looks like im fucking an atlas. My last step up was a medium perfect penis in med firm, and its a challenge sometimes so i figured this one would need some training. But i got it in 75% soft so it slid right in and i really surprised myself realizing i could take alot more if it was softer. An absolutely beautiful toy, but not recommended for pegging, machines, or riding unless you get med firm which personally i would not recommend.
