This will not stand on its own in 40% soft. Is easier to insert with a little play with a different toy. The biggest difference of the two is it is very gentle on your insides. The head flare caused no irritation even after extended play. Will probably never get to the bottom of this toy as it is huge, but is a very fun ride and glad I bought the softer version.
